Brand identity design for Cedartown Bistro & Restaurant
The Cedartown Bistro was an established restaurant that wanted to better define their visual identity to match with the French-Provencal bistro fare and traditional values of the business. They didn’t have any existing identifiers and had been using various typefaces for their business name over the years, which gave an unpolished feel to their offering. We used a familiar water tower engraving from the city to use as an icon. This was paired with a clean typeface for the town name with a clear, serif type treatment for Bistro. The cozy feel of the new identity honors the feel of what they are known for: their french-onion soup and grilled gruyere cheese sandwiches. Casual, intimate and a place to feel at home!
